Shun Steak Knives are our favorite. Shun knives are super sharp and have great handles that fit your hand. The set comes in a bamboo presentation case and is very attractive. They're great knives but they are not cheap.
Best Value:
We really like the Forschner Rosewood Steak Knives set. The knives are very sharp and have good rosewood handles. The knives are really a steal at $80 for a set of 6.
Most Attractive Steak Knives:
Global Steak Knives are very attractive knives and have excellent cutting ability. The box is a little cheap and we didn't like the handles quite as much as the shun but they are also not as expensive. Overall a very good choice.
Best Steak Knives For Heavy Use:
If you plan on using your steak knives alot you need knives that have baveled edges and can hold up to the demands of cutting on plates and lots of washing. We like Wusthof Classic Steak Knives for their familiar design and hard edges that are beveled in a way to withstand lots of use and abuse. They come with a lifetime warranty and make a good choice.
